Service Description

Boardly is a project management and task organization tool that provides:

• Workspace and project management capabilities
• Kanban board task organization
• Note-taking and link management features
• Chrome extension for quick access
• Cross-device synchronization via Google Drive
• Team collaboration features (Pro plans)

Account Creation & Management

• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• Google Sign-In: We use Google OAuth for secure authentication
• Account Sharing: Do not share your account credentials with others
• Multiple Accounts: You may create multiple workspaces and projects within your account
• Account Termination: We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms

Subscription Plans & Billing

• Free Plan: Basic features with usage limitations
• Pro Plans: Enhanced features with monthly, quarterly, or yearly billing cycles
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• Price Changes: We may modify pricing with 30 days notice
• Refunds: Subject to our refund policy

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Boardly to:

• Upload, store, or share illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the service for spam, phishing, or other malicious activities
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Content & Data Ownership

• Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create in Boardly
• License Grant: You grant us a license to store and process your content to provide the service
• Data Export: You can export your data at any time
• Backup Rights: We may create backups of your data for service reliability
• Third-Party Content: You are responsible for any third-party content you link to

Privacy & Data Protection

Service Availability & Updates

• Service Uptime: We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• Maintenance: Scheduled maintenance may temporarily affect service availability
• Updates: We regularly update features and security measures
• Extension Updates: Chrome extension updates are distributed through the Chrome Web Store
• Feature Changes: We may modify or discontinue features with notice

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boardly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boardly from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of Boardly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
